What will amaze you is 1) Every single person in this hotel knows exactly what to do in every circumstance, so service flows in the most gracious way and 2) In-room amenities, towels, bed linen, as well as every single product in every restaurant and bar is of the highest standard and sourced locally, rightfully matching the iconic Smith Haut Lafitte vineyards and the Caudalie Vinothérapie Spa. One advice for readers: Visit the château and the vineyards.

We were kindly upgraded to the most beautiful room with a view of the pond and a seating area outside. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. For those uk-based - this les source is like a much more luxurious and wine focussed 'Pig' hotel. We are alrady looking forward to returning in the warmer months to experience the vines full of grapes and see the kitchen garden in full bloom!

Indoor and outdoor pools fabulous.
